Konknni Folk Tales Elocution Competition

On July 10, 2013, the Kendr organised Konknni Folk Tales Elocution Competition for the students of Std V-VII for the students of North Goa and a few selected schools  from South Goa. 17 schools participated in it. The first prize was won by Miss Prajakta Gaoankar of Our Lady of Grace High School, Bicholim, the second by Master Irvin Joao of Loyola High School, Margao and the third by Miss Shruti Shenoy of Holy Family High School, Porvorim. Every participant was given an useful gift hamper and a participating certificate. The judges were Fr. Tomas Lobo, Fr. Kelwin Monteiro and Ms Raksha Chari. Fr. Apollo Cardozo, the Director welcomed the participants and the parents/students while Fr. Efraim Gracias, the Administrator gave the vote of thanks. The programme was compered by Ms MInakshi Khandolkar.  

It also organised an Essay Writing competition on My Idea of Diwali and a Diwali Lantern Making Competition on the occasion of Diwali.
