The Kendr organised an Elocution Competition for the students of Std. VII of North Goa schools, on ‘Góchim Festam' on Saturday July 2018.  22 Schools participated in it. Quite a few of the students spoke on the traditional festivals such as Tisreachem Fest, Touxeachem Fest, Chical Kalo, etc.

The prize winners were:

Ms. Tanvi Surlikar  (Our Lady of Grace High School) the first prize.

Ms. Prachi Sawant, (Mary Immaculate High School),  the second prize,

Ms. Xenia Rodrigues (St Anthony High School) the third prize and Master Advait Mudras (Mustifund High School).

Mr. Govind Hawaldar, ex-Vice Principal of D.I.E.T., alto Betim and Ms Avila de Mello, a retired teacher, Mumbai were the judges. Ms Swara Pednekar, a TSKK Staff, compered the programme. All the participating students were given Educational Gift hampers and participating Certificates.
