Thomas Stephens in collaboration with Ethernet Xpress Foundation honored Mr. Alex Raphael ‘ALEXYZ’ the well-known Goan cartoonist, illustrator, Humorist, Plant lover, Trekker and Conscience Keeper at a function held at the centre under the banner 'LETS HONOUR OUR HEROES' on October 23, 2024. A brief interview was held by Mr. Francisco Coelho, Member of the Encore Academy which enriched the audience with the rich experiences of Mr. Alexyz. Fr. Jose Silveira welcomed the audience and presented a Memento, Shawl and a bouquet of flowers along with the dignitaries, namely, Mr. Tomazinho Cardozo and Aldona MLA, Mr. Carlos Ferreira. Mr. Pravin Sabnis who compered the function also gave the vote of thanks. Alexyz enlightened the audience with few selected cartoons which he explained to the audience.

POETRY WORKSHOP Thomas Stephens Konknni Kendr,( TSKK) Porvorim in collaboration with Aksharpath, Goa organized a day- long Workshop for Creative Writing on the core theme "Poetry: a Journey of Self- discovery from Inspiration to Fruition". This workshop was open to the young aspiring poets as well the practising poets who wished to further enhance their own output. The objective of the workshop was two-fold: firstly, to encourage the participants to discover the "inspiring potential of poetry" within themselves; and secondly, to enable them to appreciate their own poetry as well as that of other participants. This, in the process learn to evaluate the merits and shortcomings of their compositions. The workshop was held on Saturday, 2nd September 2023 at Tskk. Dr. Kiran Budkuley along with her 2 students, Dr. Palia Pandit and Dr. Tanvi Bambolkar animated the sessions. Dr. Arun Sakhardande was the chief guest who also shared his views on poetry and life.

Celebration of the 60 years of Konknni Film AMCHEM NOXIB at Thomas Stephens Konknni Kendr Porvorim on 15 June 2023. Eminent personalities in the field of Konknni Film shared their views on the various aspects of the film and other matters concerning the film industry. The speakers were Mr. Rajendra Talak, Tomazinho Cardozo, Irene Cardozo, Meenacshi Martins, Michael Gracias, Cyriaco Dias, Nandakumar Kamat, The Director Mr Pandurang Phaldesai welcomed the gathering whereas Fr Jose Silveira proposed the vote of thanks. Ms Siddhi Gawas was the compere for the evening. CDs exhibition was arranged by VP Sinaris and few songs from the movie were also screened on the occasion.

Bardez and Tiswadi level Inter school folk tale telling competition held at TSKK
- Sept 21, 2024 - Inter school Folk tale telling competition was held for the schools of Bardez and Tiswadi. Mr. Kanta Gaude and Gopinath Gawas were the judges for the same. Altogether 13 schools participated in the competition. The results are as follows:- - 1st Prize -St. Anthony’s High school, Guirim (Best Performance prize Tamanna Kundaikar) - 2nd Prize - G.S Amonkar vidya mandir, Mapusa (Best Performance prize Shriya Barve) - 3rd Prize – St. Mary’s High School, Mapusa (Best Performance prize Vaishnavi Gaude) - 4th Prize – Holy Cross High School, Siolim(Best Performance prize Vansh Halarnkar) - 5th Prize – St. Joseph High School, Arpora (Best Performance prize Shruti Morajkar) - The Director, Pandurang Phaldesai welcomed the audience whereas Fr. Jose Silveira SJ did the honors of distributing the Participant certificates. The Prizes were given at the hands of the Judges.

Book on Thomas Stephens released : Marathi book of Dr. Cecilia Carvalho translated by Dr. Pandurang
Fr. Thomas Stephens-achi Bhavponnachi Ruzvonn – a Marathi Book written by Dr. Cecilia Carvalho and translated by Dr. Pandurang Phaldesai was released at a function held TSKK on September 27, 2024 at the hands of Fr. Pedro Rodrigues, SJ (Provincial). Fr. Mousinho de Athaide shared a few insights from the book thus enlightening those gathered for the occasion. A short message sent by Dr. Cecilia was read by Fr. Jose Silveira SJ. He also introduced Fr. Mousinho and the Provincial and gave the Vote of Thanks.
